Good for really close work
This is really useful for really close work but some might find it slightly cumbersome as one loses awareness of it when concentrating on exacting work. I have only used it once (by necessity) so far.

Used as tissue fixative
Straightforward formaldehyde solution that needs to be diluted for use as a zoological tissue fixative at 10:1 Be careful to check pH levels if diluting with deionised water as the pH was 3.8 which is too low; I used our chalky tap water and the pH rose to 6.0 which is good and no precipitation.
I have only been using this specific product over 2 weeks so it's hard to judge its longer-term effects which is why I have only graded it as Good but it seems to be fine.

It did the job.
This was specifically purchased for a craft job, drilling through hardened steel 3mm thick. It did the job but took about half an hour and 3 drill bits were used for the job. Not brilliant but no other drill that I had tried barely dented the steel. The steel spring is the narrow strip in the pic.
