Power Source

This is a very good wave maker. For the function that I selected, I think it is a bit over powered for my 90 gal tank. I replaced the constant voltage (24Vdc) power supply with an inexpensive variable (12-24Vdc) laptop power source. This gives me greater control of the wave maker. All the features of the wave maker can now be even further adjusted due to a lower input voltage. It is a great unit; quiet also.

Too small in size for me.

Highly detailed and looks very good. Only problem I have is that it appears to be comparatively smaller than the other buildings (W.S. n scale). When standing in the midst of about ten other buildings (mostly W.S.), it looks out of place due to it's size. I think if it were scaled up by another 25%-40% it would be just right. Just about all of these buildings in reality are much larger than the surrounding stores and shops.

So far it is OK. Have not had it long enough to see how robust it is. Had a similar product last year but could not get any info on the manufacturer. Was totally unhappy due to it developing ,micro cracks in the cover after about three months (water would seep out when canister under pressure). Guy who built my pond refuses to return my calls. This seems to be almost an identical filter to the previous one I had. I'll wait to see how well it holds up over time.
