Long over due

Still don't understand why Ford left latch the way they did. This strap makes it SUPER easy to lower seatback. Product is of decent quality, think it could be a bit stronger but it get the job done. Recommend this item

NO slam - smooth operation

Unlike some reviews, my tailgate moves slow and smooth all the way opening, no bottom slam or drop in the last inch or so. Hardest part of install was getting bottom attachment bolt in place. Most important: wife impressed and likes !

Quality bracket

Good, sturdy bracket. Notch on top allows for light wiring. No rewire needed (at least my aplication) Only had to undo 2 nuts, pull off light from mount, put bracket between mount and light, tighten nuts back, done! Holes lined up perfect, no drilling or modification. Easy peezee!
