Okay so far
This was as described and easy to fit, but then I deal with this sort of thing on a daily basis.
It appeared to be of good quality and although there a few sharp edges, these were also apparent on the original; it's a motor, I'm not to see it again(hopefully). The mechanics of the thing looked sound.
As I said, it was easily installed and the vacuum now works without smoke and sparks. It's been used several times since the rebuild and continues to run well. If it's still going in a years time, I'd consider it to be 'excellent', it's too early to award it 5 stars at this point.
It's certainly good value.

Good for the price
It's just a generic lens cap. It fits my sigma lens, so I'm happy with it. I'm sure that if you paid a lot more for a manufacturer's lens cap, you'd be happy with that too, but this does the job and if I lose it, I'm not going to be massively out of pocket.
The lens cap comes with a bit of black string which is supposed to be the retainer. If I ever used these, I wouldn't be looking for a new lens cap, so you can guess that this bit of string is now in the bin.

Okay once finished
2 of 2 found this helpful These are okay, but they need finishing to make them work nicely.
I put in extra washers and a 6mm bush so that the side plates which connect the handle to the blade were parallel to each other. With these in place, I was able to tighten everything up, I don't see how it could work properly otherwise. Maybe mine came without some pieces?
I took a photo (turned sideways by he software) of mine with arrows where I'd added washers, the bush is marked with a yellow square. I also used nylok nuts instead of the ones supplied.
