The Monster Hunter game that clicked for me
I've tried several entries in the Monster Hunter series and even the demo for this and I found this one clicked and now I'm hooked in and shooting up monsters with my Light Bowgun forged from monster parts. Do I recommend this game? I do recommend it but cautiously. If this is not your first Monster Hunter rodeo you may.well love the new Quality of Life improvements such as Palamutes and Endemic Life and Wirebugs that make this the most flexible and accessible Monster Hunter game. For those unfamiliar with the games, be warned: Despite this recommendation that this is one of the most accessible entries to date, there is still a lot to take in, with all sorts of systems and processes to take on in order to improve the offensive and defensive capabilities of you and your buddies, and 14 different weapons that essentially turn the monster fighting experience on its head. Couple that with trapping and monster riding mechanics, looting and collecting, this is a game with an intimidating level of depth and complexity. Stick with it, and you may find this gorgeous and atmospheric game will hook you in. If you are at all unsure. Please try the demo and stick with the demo, try not to worry too much about memorising the barrage of tutorials, and experiment with the weapons. You may have found your new favourite game.
