3yrs - 200hrs+ review.
I've had the saw for 3 years now, its used regularly with over 200hrs+ use. To say i'm surprised is an understatement, its still going strong ish and has taken some major abuse in tough working conditions.
Its been thrown into quads, vans and tractors with no real damage, the flimsy chainbrake still in place and plastics still strong.
Its been in some big diameter timber and has ample power. Ran with a smaller bar and it really sings in wood. But the 20" pulls well too.
What is really surprising is it has started faultlessly every time never needing multiple pulls.1st or 2nd. Never needed to faff with the carb etc. In my eyes very good value for money. The price has gone up a little as it was a sub £100 saw but still cheap.
If you view it for what it is a "cheapo saw" its surprisingly good. You can buy 4 of them for a similar cc'd well known brand.
In 2 years the only thing I had to change was the recoil pull starter pulley recently. (Plastic) Not many spares around for that especially for the 62cc ,loads of smaller Chinese ones on ebay needed mod'in slightly.
Didn't stick to the chains supplied after a couple of sharpening's changed for a quality type but they did the job. Hardened so don't file

Quality product.
Very good quality bag, Padding really good, zips work well, large pocket fits ammo & knife etc really useful. Nice finish and looks classy.
Carbine size addition to the range would also be welcomed.

Another Parker Gem
Saw was put to use straight away hours after delivery. Simple to put together, although I know my way round a saw. The only thing I did was sharpen the dog spikes (very blunt and rounded), personal preference really, but handy in the wood I was climbing in. Works fine, no complaints at the price. Pull starter went limp a few times on max pull (jiggle about and the spring worked), got the feeling it wont last long. to be seen. Oil pump not amazing did have to check twice as the chain sounded dry, but it does oil. Ran a little fat out of the box, didn't effect use ran but a small tweek it was spot on.
Two chains is nice, not sure of quality but sharp, done a couple of full tree limbing jobs already without re-sharpening.
Nice light weight saw great for climbing especially a second or spare top handled.
Its not top brand but then your not paying top brand prices, so cant really be compared to those saws (Its blatantly not top brand quality) . Absolutely wouldn't think twice about buying another at the price and it does exactly what its meant for well so far!
