simple and effective
ideal, works a treat, no power needed, it simply works off the connected hdmi cables, set the resolution and plug the cables in. I have a humax stb that is a real pain with hdmi hdcp handshaking, it tries to be too clever and automatically sets a resolution that cannot be displayed which leave me pulling my hair out. This edid manager shouldn't be necessary; however where hdmi hdcp handshaking is a problem and the hdmi equipment won't sync properly then this is a godsend.

Good piece of kit
My parent's cistern, at least 30+ or 50+ years never went wrong. Over the years with modern floats/valves I seem to have been plagued and after 5 - 8 years they drip/leak and then fail. I've just spent the last week with new seals, gaskets, diaphragms etc. to fix an existing cistern to no avail. Bought and then fitted this in minutes and well pleased, cistern fills up very quickly, low noise and maybe just maybe it'll last 10+ years.

poor quality
0 of 1 found this helpful I bought two sets based on the photo and overtime I seem to lose one or another bits, I was mainly interested in the T40 and T45, but also wanted to see the T50 and T60 which are unusual in 1/4" and might be handy. Attached are two photos, one taken from above of the T40, T45 and T50 and the T45's have very little profile and as a result are loose and spin. The other photo shows the side view of the T45 and T50 for comparison, although you can see the T45 profile it really does look almost more like a Hex than Torx. These are really poorly made, I've not had chance to use them properly, but I expect I'll be throwing them out one by one as they fail
