Bought to use as an external monitor

I use this older iMac as a secondary monitor for my MacBook Pro and I love it. It makes the iMac run a little hot for some reason (considering it’s not using the processor, etc) but a small USB fan clamped to the back of the display seems to keep it all cooler. Although this iMac’s OS can’t be upgraded anymore, it can still be used (immediately) to surf the net, etc. whenever I disconnect my laptop.

Love this device: aggregates show and movie searches so that they’re easy to find without having to search within each streaming service app. Fast, reliable and plenty of storage. Apple Arcade apps are a nice bonus feature to have too.
