You MUST Buy One of These - Today!!!
My first foray into 3D printing, and I'm bowled over by how good it is. The assembly instructions are extremely easy to follow, and the print area is superb. Once assembled, you can print right away. You won't be alble to tear yourself away as your first print slowly appears in front of your very eyes!! I did notice an issue with the Z-axis motor binding, but I pacaked it with a little bit of cereal packet card, and the job's a good 'un! It IS built down to a price, but don't let this put you off. I guarantee you'll start your printing life by making enhancements for it, and that's half the pleasure of owning one. You'll be bashing out filament guides, fan covers, cable chains, tool holders, and control covers to your heart's content, as well as designing your own bits and pieces. You only get a tiny bit of filament with the printer, so order yourself some PLA on the same day you buy the printer, otherwise you'll be tearing your hair out wasiting for it. I also advise paying a little extra for the filament. Forget the stuff sold by these guys at around a tenner; it's too brittle and you'll waste time printing things that break in your hands. There's a UK seller who knocks out PLA at about £12.50 a Kilo, and the difference in quality is palpable. THere's only one real downside (in my opinion) and that's that there aren't enough hours in the day to play with my new toy!!

    Replaces WV50 Window Vac motor
My 5 year old Karcher window vac motor gave up the ghost through worn out brushes. After checking the entire UK, I found nothing, but then I spotted this in China. It's an absolute, like for like, drop in, replacement, for a Karcher WV50 motor, for ridiculously low money. For the princely sum of a quid and a half (at time of writing), it's well worth the risk of ordering. It definitely performs as well as (if not better) than the original Karcher motor, although I can't tell you if the motor will last the 5 years its predecessor managed! But to extend the life of an old machine, for a ridiculously low sum, you can't go wrong with this. G'wan, g'wan, g'wan. You know you need it!!
Witness for the Prosecution [DVD] [1957] DVD***NEW***

    Witness For the Prosecution
I bought this for a friend, so I've never actually seen the film. So I'll have to base my review entirely on the DVD case: Obviously this is a film about some sort of legal matter involving a prosecution. I'd imagine that one of the key players in this is a witness, who must be the eponymous hero of the story. I see it has Marlene Dietrich in it, and she is reclined on something resembling a camp bed. All in all, it doesn't look very comfortable - especially given that Tyrone appears to be holding her down, and picking her pocket. ON a side note, the front cover has her right leg hanging off the mattress, whilst the back cover has her left leg in the same position. Maybe some trick of the light is allowing us to see right through the case? Who knows?!! I get the impression that they haven't paid their electricity bill, as they seem to be in a room with no lights. Perhaps that is reason for the prosecution; unpaid monies owing to their electricity service provider. More evidence for this seems to be that they can't even afford a rug, let alone a nice deep-pile carpet for the whole room, and they havn't even got a cheap Tesco Value duvet to keep them warm. Maybe it's his flat, and he's picking her pocket to see if he can find a coin for the meter? Although she doesn't look it, she must be knocking on a bit in the film, as the case implies that she's wearing suspenders for the first time in 50 years, although she seems to have removed these before letting Tyrone loose with his fingersmithing. So, there you have it; a very famous film, with some very famous people, that you can pick up for less than a tenner, and still have some dosh left over for a couple of beers.
