Good value pocket HD camcorder
This item, retailing now at around £80 new, is about the same size mobile phone but slightly thicker. It still fits comfortably in the pocket and shoots great quality widescreen HD movies at 720p directly onto an SDHC memory card (it can take up to 32Gb cards). My advice is to get a good quality Class 6 or higher SDHC card, that can cope with the processing speed of the camera, or you might get jerky pictures in recording and playback. It takes 2 AA rechargeable batteries and these seem to last quite well, but having spares shouldnt be a problem when you are out and about. I havent tried to use this in low light conditions yet, but indoor and outdoor the quality of image and colour is well represented. Sound quality too is not too bad considering the microphone is built into the small device. Overall, it is a good introduction to HD video and I am very pleased this item, especially at the cost. I got mine for £31 second hand on Ebay. For that price I could never complain, but this is worth much much more.
