You Could have it so Much Better, review by Carl Heath
A very good album. Franz Ferdinand are one of the most interesting and original British bands around, with spikey post punk guitars and witty observant lyrics, a bit of an oddity in the current music scene as they don't sound like the current crop of bands who are all trying to be either the libertines or an 80's wannabe act! Not as good as Franz Ferdinands first album, and any one unfamiliar to the band should try the debut self titled album, but their are a couple of excellent songs on here maybe a couple of tracks two many as theirs a couple of tracks that sound a bit samey, but I would still put this album in my top 10 of this decade to date, its that good. If you like, the Editors, the Rakes, Maximo Park, Elastica, Wire, Interpol, ect, you will love Franz Ferdinand.

Revolver by the Beatles
One of my top 5 albums ever! by oddly not my fav Beatles album, that being Abby Road, but this is def the Beatles album to get for those new to them, this is the album where they invented music as we know it, and thats not me being dramatic, this album sounds as fresh and sophisticated as anything today and at the time was totally revolutionary. It does have Yellow Submarine on, but besides that every track is awsome. This is the 4th time I have bought this album, because it always makes a good gift to those unfamiliar. :)
