Carrying Case For A Singer 221 Featherweight Sewing Machine

A perfect replacement!
1 of 2 found this helpful I still use my mother's Singer Featherweight which she bought in 1938. Over the years, with the usual wear and tear from use and moving around the country, the original case began to fall apart. I kept looking in the vintage shops for a replacement, with little luck. The few I found were either too damaged or came with the machine. One day I tried eBay and there was this beautifully preserved carrying case! My mother's Singer now sits in it, looking as good as new.

I have worn Old Friend slippers for years!
I usually change from shoes to slippers when I come home, so I spend a lot of time in them. The fleece lining is cozy and will hold up under a lot of use. The soles are not bouncy marshmallows. They are substantial and comfortably firm. The only thing I've changed when ordering a new pair of slippers is the color!

Beautiful ring, but too small.
The ring was in perfect condition, but I had to return it because it was too small. My fault — I forgot that I would be wearing it on my right hand, which takes a larger size than my left.
