Worth the Investment
A well-made tough backpack and the only one I could find (after a lot of searching) that carries a DSLR with two lenses, a tripod or water bottle, a reasonable amount of personal kit such as a rain jacket, phone and purse. It is quite big and bulky but it's not too heavy and has well-designed comfortable shoulder straps and waist belt. I will use it for photo expeditions such as air shows and for storing my camera kit at home.

Lives Up to Expectation (just)
The first thing I have to say about this bag is that it is a fraction of the price of a professional photography bag and so I will do my best to review it fairly in that context.
The design is brilliant. It reduces the bulk of carrying a DSLR and two substantial lenses to handbag size. There is a enough additional space for a phone, some cash, and a battery or two. Of course all that (and a tripod too if you attach one) really does add up to a lot of weight and that is where I am just a little uneasy. The fabric is decent enough but the budget nature of the bag reveals itself in the straps, buckles and zips. These will undoubtedly be the first things to bust. Of particularly poor design is the stabilising strap that goes around your waist. It is like thin ribbon and is therefore next to useless. I am thinking of cutting it off. The rain cover too is barely showerproof, definitely not waterproof (I tried it under the tap and water pours through the stitching). But as I said, you can't argue with the design and the price so if it lasts one holiday and a few weekends I guess that'll be fair enough.

Of course it’s good
Yes it’s expensive for what it is but if you’ve bought a Billingham bag you’ve invested in quality. This is no different. It’s designed with thought and really does make carrying a heavy bag more bearable.
