Why Pay More
You obviously can pay a whole lot more for a mug press but why. This press is an excellent value. Easy to set up. I used an IR thermometer to celebrate the temperature I wanted. Dial in the temp and time over the first couple of mugs to get it just right and you'll be set for a couple of years. I have four mug presses working through Christmas. I've already made a couple dozen mugs on it and they look great. This was a replacement for a similar one I had for 3 years that finally died.

For Sublimation
2 of 2 found this helpful If you want a wide format printer for sublimation this is a good value compared to a $1400 Sawgrass setup. It is pretty easy to find ink and refillable cartridges for sublimation ink but like all Epson printers it will not be happy with your choices and will make you jump through hoops sometimes to use non Epson ink and carts. If you have used an Epson for sublimation you already know what I mean. If not be patient, and it will work. That said, the print quality is excellent. I use my to print garden flags on super B paper.
