Useful, but not essential.
Having the 8 mm hex wrench and 14mm socket in one tool is nice, but definitely not essential. I'm sure most amateur mechanics will already possess these two tools. Still. The hex end is great for removing pedals, and for those bikes using a bolt to secure the cranks AND need the hex, then it is useful. Doesn't replace the torque wrench of course!

Good. But only works one way.
1 of 1 found this helpful For the price, this is a very nice tool. I have used it once, and it appeared to be accurate. The downside for me, is that whilst it still works as a conventional ratchet wrench anti-clockwise, it does not work as a torque wrench. For you, this may not matter, but if you need to torque left hand threads such as some bicycle bolts, then you are left with guesswork. Still. Overall I'm pleased with it.
