serious piece of kit
this head lamp is quite big, solid and heavy, but it is a serious piece of kit. The main beam is easily 150 metres, and with the smaller side lights, it has a decent spread and lower power to be useful when working up close on a smaller target.
The battery charge seems to be substantial, and I've not yet burned through the first charge.

fiddly straps
Good strong boom cover. The blue colour is a little unusual but not unattractive. The velcro straps and fastenings are quite fiddly. I would have expected clips, once set up, would be fast and secure. The set up on this cover requires threading of fiddly velcro (unbacked) throw a small buckle, and then touch and close. I will modify to take more user friendly clips.
