Great pedal.
1 of 1 found this helpful Rugged, dependable, simply designed, and totally affordable, the Ibanez DS-7 is an amazingly versatile distortion pedal. From blues rock to punk and hard rock, this pedal (to me) competes with Mesa Boogie's Throttler pedal. Yes, after comparison, I find that the Ibanez DS-7 is the superior pedal, at a fraction of the price.
For a cleaner, sharper tone, more in the realm of metal, I recommend the Ibanez Smashbox. Same design, same company, same affordability.
