Vocabulary Connections Book A
As an adult intermediate teacher for GED students of five years/plus, I have found in my training that Vocabulary Connections is a great resource. It is written in a way that students can work independently and for those that find it more complicated, it can be explained with ease. Not only does it teach vocabulary, but it also teaches comprehension. The exercises build from comprehension, to vocabulary and eventually end with a writing exercise for the student. When I found out my own daughter was lacking vocabulary skills after taking the IOWA tests I ran out and purchased the first book in the series. (I think she was having a bad testing day because she can work the exercises (so far) on her own and completes them with a 100 percent and she loves the stories.) If you have a student that needs comprehension and vocabulary skills, this is the book to purchase.

2 of 2 found this helpful In a month we now own two. These devices are fantastic and easy to use. Works great with Netflix and can replace your cable box, which can save money. We will be buying a third Roku for our other TV.
