Easy to fit and works well
Easy to fit as the design now has a redesigned top plate. This needs to be unscrewed and then the new one fitted and tightened up. A small screwdriver or other tool has to be fitted into one of the holes and used to turn the plate. Removing the old lift was difficult, but the new one went on without problems.
The old lift had ceased to work properly, and the new one has returned the arm to normal operation.

Effective and well-made
I found these easy to fit, and they would have been even easier with the right tools! A key benefit is that the sockets are secured with a second, locking nut. This makes it possible to obtain a tight fitting to the panel and, equally important, a good connection via the earth tag for the signal return.
Once fitted, the sockets make a very good connection with an RCA plug.
I have used them on a step-up transformer for a moving-coil cartridge and they really worked well. Because of the low signal level, a poor connection would really show up.
