Split Image: A Jesse Stone Mystery by B. Parker, Robert Hardback Book The Fast

    Best Jesse Stone Novel Yet
This is one of the best Jesse Stone books I've read yet! Compelling plot with a completely different twist. Not to be missed! Couldn't put it down.

    Good, but not Great
I have to say that the content was not compelling. This book was not Philippa Gregory's best. It was entertaining. but that's about all I can say about it.
The Loves Of Charles II By Plaidy, Jean

    Found it Boring
I said "yes" to recommending this book because I'm sure there are some who will enjoy it. I love to read historical novels, especially about the kings & queens of years past. I've read many, many novels by Jean Plaidy and thoroughly enjoyed them. Until this one. I became so bored by page 95 that I had to give it up (and this trilogy contains 740 pages!). For a historical buff who's looking for facts, dates, details about battles, this is probably a good read. But for entertainment value, I don't recommend it -- yet. I'm not giving up on it completely. One of these days I'll pick it up, and start again. But this is the first Jean Plaidy book I've come across that was not a page-turner. In most of them, I can't wait to see what happens next. Not true with this one.
