Toshiba TDP-S8 DLP Projector

This projector is a discontinued model but if you do not need HD is a good affordable choice to buy secondhand. Easy to use and plenty bright enough for normal use. Works well with Svideo cable to DVD player and Sky box with audio through our stereo. Needs a special cable to work from our Macbook. Bulb should be good for 2000 hours and as a new one will probably cost more than a secondhand projector so check the hours used carefully, if zero or very low it could mean a new bulb has recently fitted so ask for the receipt. Be wary of low hours without a receipt as it is possible to reset the hours used. We got ours secondhand with under 100 hours use for £99 which I feel was a good, fair deal.

Ordinary people can forgive, there is hope for future generations.

I was told about this book by a friend who had just returned home after a 3 month stay in Jerusalem. It ranks amongst the best books I have read. Well written and reveals many hidden facets of life as occupiers and occupied in Israel/Palestine. This book shows how ordinary people can forgive but there is no easy solution to this conflict and like many throughout the world the intolerance of a few in positions of power brings misery and suffering to the rest of us. A must read book.

Lots of twists and another great read from this author.

Fantastic read. I am a fan of George R R Martin having read all the Game of Thrones series, can't wait for the next one, so when I saw this I bought it. Completely different and totally absorbing with lots of twists as the story progressed.
