The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood (2017, Hardcover)

Couldn't put this book down!

This story is quite compelling...in fact, I found it hard to put down! The print is large enough for me to easily read with my very nearsighted eyes, the book not too heavy to hold for hours at a time (which is exactly how I ended up reading it-hours at a time). I could see how this story could possibly come true in real life with how the events in the book unfolded. Seen through the eyes of Offred, the world of Gilead comes to life and the way her life changed and how it affected her and the people around her will stay with you for quite some time. I can't wait to read the sequel!

LOVE these!

I love these postcards....so cute, well made, and colorful. I remember each one being a title panel for the strip in years past. Making a wonderful collage from some of them (they're too cute to send in the mail!).

A trip down memory lane, with laughs.

I love the Retail strip and read it every day. I also used to work retail years ago so this book really brought back some memories, only this time I can laugh at them. So much of this book is true for anyone who works or worked in retail. I just wish there had been more Retail strips in the book though.
