Volcano water tower autism sensory toy visual special needs

Not as pictured

Item is not as pictured. I ordered this one to replace a red one my mom got my son, then my toddler smashed it and my older son was heartbroken. I was amazed I found the exact one...but when I opened the package it it has black caps on the ends, not red...even though the box shows a red one. Also, there is some weird gunk floating around in the fluid that my son noticed immediately.
