Bought for estuary fishing in a kayak. Ideal size and weight, copes with 3oz leads (with braid) in a reasonable tide flow with enough sensitivity to register bites. I looked at a few in this price bracket and firmly believe this is similar to rods twice this price.

As with everything from Tidepool, it’s ideal for purpose. Kevin is a wildfowler and knows what is required, if you call him or see him at shows he’s always got time to talk to you and recommend products and explain how to get the best out of them. First class service
