Solid hammer handle - great for replacing broken handles - suitable for 8oz hammers
Hey, it is a hammer handle made from wood and slightly sculpted to fit your hand - what else is there to say? Well, one question that I would have is what is "real wood" (and no f'nah f'nah comments - trying to be serious here). It looks like it is most likely beech (though am up to be corrected).
If it helps, it looks like it will be a good fit to replace the handle on an existing ball pein hammer that I have - the old one being 1/2 lb (8oz). One of the challenges is finding the right sized handle in the first place - as in how long should the handle be? One could use a rough ratio of 1:3 - as in handle is three times the horizontal length of the hammer head. In this case the length should be good for what I am after.
All I need to do now is a get a wood and metal wedges, some sawing (for the wedges), a bit of sanding, fitting and oiling (can't forget the boiled linseed oil!) and then I should be back in business!

Great clarinet ligature - a standard for clarinetists
As per other Vandoren kit, this is well made (and comes with three swapable plates) - though this one didn't include the cap (though this is not necessary for operation and I do have a spare). The Optimum ligature is a "standard" for clarinet players and its operation is as expected - as in it works very well.
I would highly recommend getting one if you don't have one already. It is a great upgrade from any ligature (including those that may have come with the instrument).
Concerning the cap, Vandoren have a weird coating (sort-of rubberised) on the plastic cap that gets tacky over the years. This can be scrapped off with a bit of effort using soap/water/isopropyl resulting in a smooth plastic cap that works well (including leaving the logos behind).

Fantastic managed switch with 10Gbe
Fantastic switch but not cheap. Then again, it is fully managed and 10Gbe (with SFP slots as well)! Build quality is great. Then again, this is an enterprise-level bit of kit and it is to be expected. Linked into an Ubiquiti ecosystem, there really isn't much better in their range to support a whole range of devices. It doesn't have any PoE ports though and this is probably the only downside to it.
