Joel McCrea in a family friendly film, general entertainment with a moral message about child rearing.
"Cattle Drive" is more of a family western than an 'adult' themed film. The story is about a young, rich and spoiled child Dean Stockwell gets lost in the desert; he is rescued by a cattle drive foreman. Along the cattle drive, the young lad learns many life lessons, changing from self-centered, rude and petulant into a considerate, wiser and thoughtful of others young man. The photography is great, technicolor nice and acting passable. A moral message for the family. General entertainment.
The DVD is too expensive for what you get. Should be a $10 retail price and not $20.

Great Movie Score CD! Perfect of the Movie Music Lover!
I bought this cd, because I originally wanted the music score for one of my favorite westerns, "The Hanging Tree". The orchestra score is very hard to find and only on two cd's that I know of. It is a brilliant piece of movie music if ever there was one. This cd is not of the actual studio recordings to my knowledge, but it is still as close to perfect as possible. The cd is loaded with terrific Max Stiener scores for some ALL-TIME CLASSICS: i.e., "Casablanca"; "The Treasure of Sierra Madre"; "Gone with the Wind"; "The Searchers"; "Mildred Pierce"; "Sergeant York"; "King Kong", and on the list goes. So if you are a big fan of this lovely orchestrated movie music ... this cd is a MUST HAVE!!!! Do yourself a favour and get one. You won't be sorry!!! Guaranteed.

Great British comedy, a wonderful DVD collection.
8 of 8 found this helpful I bought this set as a gift for a family member and it was money very well spent. They watch it all the time and love the show/ DVD set. You get every TV episode, the picture quality is fine and some of the episodes are classics of the comedy genre. If you like UK comedies then I would recommend "Are You Being Served?". I hope you will enjoy it as much as my family member does. Cheers!
