Mirrormask

this film is good for those who has the patience to allow the plot develop. it has a bit of a slow build-up and only makes complete sense on the second viewing. it is well filmed; choc full of a abstract surrealism, like you've just stepped into a picasso, van gogh or another work of art by a surrealist. it wont appeal to everybody but for those who dont mind stepping into a world entirely unconnected form our own. i would recomend it to those who liked films like pan's labyrinth or neverending story, or other semi-surreal films.

A film worth watching

this is a good laugh out loud comedy from the golden age of good acting. goldie hawn plays a stuck up rich woman who, out of boredom, employs a carpenter dean profit(kurt russel) to build her a new wardrobe while in port. later on she then refuses to pay hima nd thros him and his tools overboard. she gets her comeuppance later ron when she falls overboard later that night. washed up amnesiac,when her husband (who isnt all that fond of her) fails to claim her, dean takes advantage of the situation claiming that she's his wife and the mother of his four unruly kids. all kinds of things then begin to happen as dean keeps up the illusion that slowly turns into soemthing else entirely. this is a film worth watching with great performances from Kurt russel and Goldie hawn and the rest of the supporting cast. no matte rhow many times you've seen it, it will always make you laugh; again and again.
