Excellent Value, Workhorse

Excellent harmonica and value. Equivalent in niche, quality and usually price to Yamaha SS-220. Performs exactly as designed, better for some uses than others. Full chromatic, bulletproof; no valves or slide to malfunction or mess with. Makes it better for single notes than chords, chords a little spare and harsh. No breathiness. Plays with slightly more wind resistance than Yamaha SS-220, but notes still loud and clear, a little brassy. Chords slightly harsher, yet overall slightly sweeter single note tone than the Yamaha. Tough as nails; distributed widely to Japanese schoolchildren for general music education. Cheap, thin plastic box. No US distributor, really only available online from individual sellers as it is here. Both harmonicas played by virtuoso Russian player in online videos.

Excellent harmonica and value. Equivalent in niche, quality and usually price to Tombo S-50. Performs exactly as designed, better for some uses than others. Full chromatic, tough as nails; no valves or slide to malfunction or mess with. Makes it better for single notes than chords, chords a little spare. No breathiness. No wind resistance, notes loud, clean and clear, a little brassy. Overall slightly sharper single note tone than Tombo S-50, yet chords a little less harsh. Well fitting plastic box, but not fancy. No US distributor, really only available online from individual sellers as it is here. Both harmonicas played by virtuoso Russian player in online videos.

Excellent inexpensive tenor uke.
Like other Kmises, great value for price. Good sound, good quality control. Laminate, but sounds better than one solid tenor that cost me a little more. The sapele veneer looks nice and a lot like mahogany.
