Do not buy cheaper versions - they do not work!
Mavala does a brilliant job of whitening nail tips & make the nails look French polished.
My only fear is that Mavala nail white crayons are becoming harder to find. I do hope they're not going to be discontinued!

Excellent Calligraohy tuition in a book
Thank you to the company from whom I bought this book - although used it was as good as new.
This book was required reading when I studied Calligraphy back in the early nineteen nineties, but vanished in subsequent years when as a tutor myself I would share my 'library' with students.
Ann Camp had been the tutor in charge, before my time at the college so you can be sure that her tuition is of a high standard
