If You Don't Like Snakes, Stay Away From This DVD!
I was sucked into thinking that this film was just a waste of time, by all the critics, and all of the internet hype surrounding it. However, after watching an episode of "Friday Night with Jonathan Ross", he said that he actually liked the film. Well, as I am into the same sorts of things that he is (Japanese Culture, Manga Films, Comic Books, etc.), I thought I would give it a go. It will never win any Oscars, but it is a great film to just sit down and have a beer with. You don't need to figure out any complicated plots (like in Momento, or Syriana), it is just as it says - "Snakes On A Plane"! There are some good "jumpy" bits, and if you are a MAN, there is one particular scene that will have you wincing and crossing your legs. If you don't like snakes, don't buy it, but if you don't mind them, then it will make a great addition to your DVD collection.
