Good DIY quality tool - amust for a woodburner
Rods are sturdier than I expected. The 'click' connectors are fiddly but get a bit better with practice. Need a better tool to 'unclick', hence only 4 stars. Double check each connection with care. Recommend clean them well after use and spray with WD40. The system is much easier than traditional rods using a fixed head to clean woodburner flue. Lots of good advice videos online on how to use. I would not have been able to sweep chimney without them and would still be waiting for a professional sweep. So straightforward I intend to use more frequently.

Tighter fitting lids on AGA
Although I thought it would be a little tricky to remove the old ones, the lids did seem loose and I wanted to upgrade the insulation and lid liners. The previous hinge pins were held in place with slotted head grub screws and these did come out OK. I reused them in preference to either the circlips or new grub screws which needed an allen key, as they would be much harder to deal with if the became 'gunked-up'. The hinges are now tighter so worth doing.
