    great wrenches
I don't usually write reviews, but this product was so exceptional that I felt motivated to write one. I have had a verity of different tools over the years (I am 60, so that is a lot of years), and I have turned more than my share of bolts in that time. I have had Snap-on, Mac, SK, Proto, Craftsman (older US made), and Wright tools. All have all served me well. I have had a couple of failures over the years, some I enjoy using more than others, and some are better looking. I have a complete tool sets in my truck, one in my garage, one set I built up for my son, and a back-up (kick around) set which I use whenever the tools may get abused (on the road, to lend out, etc…). With the exception of Craftsman, all are high dollar tools. When you pay a premium, you expect to get the best fit and finish that can be delivered. There is a couple of ways to measure tool quality: value per $, or against the high bar set by the best in the business regardless of cost. I am not going to get into the pro’s and con’s of the above mentioned brands. They work… they do the job they need to do. Here, I am going to say that Tekton seems to have set a new standard of quality for all tool manufactures… regardless of cost. Tekton is inexpensive compared to many bands, but the fit and finish rivals the best I have ever seen from any manufacturer. I bought a complete set or Tekton wrenches (both metric and std.) to put in my back-up box (after giving away a set to my son). I was not looking for a high dollar tool here, as these tools often end up getting used in the dirt, or getting kicked round on the concrete. Upon their arrival and initial inspection, I was duly impressed with the fit and finish. I used them to service the transmission in the truck and I really liked the feel in my hands, and the solid fit (tolerances) to the bolts. I have wrenches that I consider “bolt killers”, as they tend to drive the nut/bolt at the corners, and often “round” the head off. This is not the case with Tekton. I found they drive the nut/bolt firmly from the side (flank). Needless to say, I have juggled all my wrenches, and placed the Tekton in my primary garage box. They are my “go to” wrenches now.

very nice "little" knife. Takes a great edge, should come in handy when you don't have access to a larger knife.
