Pretty heavy weight
This is a heavy hammer. Suitable if you need to give something a proper wallop. So, if you have to swing it a lot all day you will probably get tired of its heaviness. The shaft seems to be pretty heavy grade plastic (to take the shock, I assume). It's got a sticker on it saying "TUV quality" which is a German quality standard. I very good standard in my opinion. So, yes very good product for a specific task of shaping heavier metal.
