The Pursuit of Holiness is a must-read.
The Pursuit of Holiness is a wake-up call to 21st century Christians in America. The subject gets no attention in lessons and in sermons, when in fact it should be the focus of our attention. Reading the book should be convicting and convincing to the point of refocusing our life on holiness. Everyone who reads the book should receive a great blessing.

Against the Tide - Autobiography ofmWatchman Nee
The entire story is compelling. I was particularly drawn to the last few chapters, when it described in detail how Nee was treated by the Communists. The book contains a full description of the charges against him. The description matches other reports of how Christians were treated by Communists in prison. Our response should be to live more faithfully for Christ.
