Take control and save some money
Replaced my Virgin TIVO box and so it is saving me £20+ a month. Have about 160 Freeview channels, though some of these are +1 or shopping channels etc, but there are enough to meet most needs. Also it is much easier to use to catch up on TV programmes which you may have missed or just missed the start.
Reception is via a TV aerial or satellite receiver whilst the apps (e.g. BBC iPlayer) are viewed via the broadband connection. Easy to use and I am pleased I made the change.

Versatile
Bought this to replace a Tefal cooker which we had used for many years (mainly in our motorhome). So far this has not disappointed us.
In practice the heat regulator works well though and is responsive though it would have useful to have a coloured dot on the dial so we could see where it was set (we plan to do this our-self). The heating is focused towards the centre of the dish so it is important to stir occasionally to avoid local burning. However when roasting a chicken or making a tasty casserole in this type of cooker we find it is important to ensure that there is adequate water in the pan during cooking.
A final word of advice is to only use gel type spatulas/spoons with Teflon coated pans because as soon as they get damaged it becomes difficult to clean them (and scrubbing hard to clean them only worsens the problem).
The only critical issue regarding the cooker is the plastic seal. It did smell strongly of plastic but it did not contaminate the food. However with moisture condensing into the seal during cooking it is necessary to remove it to wash it after cooking. Perhaps a fused on plastic seal would have been better.
Apart from this one issue I think this cooker is going to serve us well.
