Neewer Trail Cam
Excellent piece of kit. Decent menu options gives good flexibilty. Useful to me is the timer as I wanted to shoot mainly at night. The infra red is powerful with a decent range (50 ft usefully) and the sensors are pretty keen (《 0.5 sec to trigger cam ). Video quality very good but I do suspect the full HD is upscaled but if you want broadcast quality then be prepated to spend several hundred or more - this cam more than cuts it for soc. media, YouTube or a web site: a nice and clear image, sharp, with colour and contrast. Night shots lovely and clear (unless it's foggy). I've had this outside for pretty much two weeks, day and night, in rain and well below zero. Never missed a beat. Ideally need a 64Gb SDHC or SDXC card and good batteries, especially if using full HD video and still photo, which you can do simultaneously. The sound quality is really good! For the price 5/5. Easy to set up and use. Best advice for anyone buying one, take some time with it, experiment with settings and filming locations and I think you can get a lot out of it. For me it's just interesting to see the night time world in the back garden hefore I put it to some proper wildlife work. Worth looking up a couple of the reviews on YouTube too.
