Buyer beware
1 of 1 found this helpful Buyer beware. Bulbs are poorly manufactured. Manufacturing quality control appears non existent.
On the base of the bulbs the two lead/solder contacts are of vastly differing lengths to the extent that the bulbs, even with considerable force do not fit and correctly locate into the B,C. bulb holders.
In attempting to locate and push fit the bulbs because the bulbs do not go far enough into he bulb socket to properly locate and set the two locking pins in position, it is possible to place strain on one or both of the pins and break them off of the bulb.
Of the ten bulbs that Ii purchased. The lowest height of the two lead/solder contacts is .018 inches and the highest height of the contacts is .086 inches. Quite a difference in manufacturing tolerances. I tried the bulbs in four different B.C bulb holders, ceiling lights, table lamps and the maximum contact length acceptable for an easy and safe fit was .028 inches.
Ii have attached photographs of the minimum and maximum contact length and the corresponding measurements.. There is also a photograph showing a bulb where an attempt to fit the bulb had led to a pin being dislodged. Obviously there is the real danger of somebody attempting to fit one of these bulbs in an overhead light fitting and in the process of having to push hard in order to fit the bulb, have the glass bulb break in their hand. I appreciate that the soft lead/solder contacts could be sanded of filed down but who, after buying the bulbs would want to do this. The bulbs, made in China, are way outside genuine manufacturing tolerances.

Best of British MG
Many vintage car types shown. Too many. MG content and history O.K.. Accompanying music terrible. Much valuable and interesting information not included.

'Waste of good wood pulp and ink'
Badly written. Poor English language. 'Mickey Mouse' subject content. Many important basic operations not even mentioned. For example, how to 'Download' information, files to an external Hard drive or SD card. Do not buy this waste of wood pulp, consult You Tube and 'take your pick'.
