Driver’s side instructions did not work on early T5
The passenger side fitted well following the instructions however the driver’s side, being a different shaped door, did not. I found that the lower edge was too tight against the bodywork. By repositioning this part of the seal in a similar position to the passenger side it was fine. I recommend thoroughly cleaning the whole are prior to fitting in case of problems. If you wish to check the seal is in contact with the body then dust it with talc and check the door frame for a continuous thin white line after closing and reopening it. Alternatively close the door against a newspaper and check the tension when pulled out (making sure it’s not caught on the inner seal).

Tricky with small pieces but educational.
It’s a tricky jigsaw and it certainly helps to know the British Isles well. If you don’t then it will be more educational still. The areas of sea are subtly shaded in most areas and the map grid lines and shipping routes help here too. The pieces are quite small and have very few irregular shapes.
