Effective but a small amount of product relative to the plastic of the container.
It's effective, without being too smelly. I answered "yes" to whether it's good value, but it is a bit on the expensive side, especially if you can't buy it in the supermarket & have to pay for shipping. It's rather a small container, which makes it a lot of plastic for a small amount of the product.

Old Russell Hobbs machine served me well so I bought another
I agree with other reviewers that it would be useful to know what stage the mixing has reached. I would like to be able to take the paddle out after the final mixing but I have yet to work out at exactly what time this is in the process.
This machine was to replace an almost identical one which was still going but was very worn and I was concerned that we might be eating ground up paddle and tin with our bread.
I chose Russell Hobbs because they have given excellent customer service in the past.
