Tripod Sony VCT-1170RM

Strong, stable with great features

I bought this for mounting a heavy Sony Video camera for live streaming a church service. The camera is usually operating at full 2ox zoom, and this tripod gives a very stable base with a smooth fluid head. The addition of the remote control in the handle is a big plus.

Works well

Everything works well, but just lacks lights to show if Caps Lock or Num Lock is selected.

Great while it lasted.

I had purchased this to be used for work I do with orphans in Ethiipia. It seemed to be a no brainer. Big clear sound for small outlay. It did exactly as hoped. I connected it to my phone and the sound was superb. Then I turned up the volume on my phone and the amp died. I am not a techie but I assume the input signal was too high. It was great while it lasted.
