Fun, cool art and short series to complete.
'Meet Angel', is the 7th and final issue from the 'Angel and the Ape' Silver Age DC series, which is quite a difficult issue to find, due to being the final issue of a short run series. It sports a cool 'good girl' art cover, with a few monsters (Frankenstein and Dracula) about to push Angel over a cliff, with buzzards flying overhead waiting for her body to go flying off the cliff's edge. It was the final issue for me to find, which goes with final issue low print runs. The art has grown on me over time and now I enjoy all of the artist's other covers and titles their art appears on, including other 'good girl' art series, like the Binky titles and several others. I am now trying to complete all these 60s and early 70s teen titles that have similar art and storylines, because they all have the same fun 60s era shenanigans taking place in each issue.

Another excellent cover and content of late 60s lightweight teen-humor-romance.
This comic book is another example of late 60s - early 70s good girl art, which many if not all of these teen-humor-romance books all seem to portray on the covers, as well as inside in the stories therein. I am enjoying these comic book runs of each of these same types of teen romance and humor as they depict teen life from back then, and I enjoy this type of plotline and storytelling. They are not expensive and are a great way of reading about life during that era and the clothing and hairstyles are a great reflection also of the times. Am very happy I chose to purchase this book, and it goes very well with the collection of titles I've been slowly assembling. Will continue to seek out more titles and issues like this one!

'Good Girl' art, with humorous storylines and colorful covers. Can't beat it!
The book sports a 'good girl' art cover, which is quite popular now for these types of teen books from the 40s, 50s and 60s which collectors have begun to notice. Besides it's colorful and the stories inside are actually humorous. You can't go wrong with any of these 'A Date With Judy' books, and I'm finding myself trying to pick up as many as I can, after spending YEARS trying to complete a Batman and Superman, and adjacent title runs. Amazing! I never took a second look at this title, but now I scramble to find them! You'll enjoy these if you take the time to look into the run and see how nice the covers are!
