nice addition to the TNG collection, but not quite as much bang-for-buck as the other blu-ray releases
This blu ray includes the 2-part Next Generation episode 'Unification' re-edited to run as a single 90-minute episode, complete with audio commentary featuring writer Jeri Taylor and Mike & Denise Okuda, a deleted scene which runs about 1-2 minutes, and a 16-minute documentary "From One Generation to the Next". The commentary with Jeri Taylor is interesting โ however, since she only wrote Part I of the episode she doesn't speak a great deal about the writing from that point on. The documentary is shorter than those included on the other blu-ray releases, and isn't quite as insightful regarding production. Still, this is a good addition to the TNG blu-ray collection.

the 118-minute version
This film is a must-have for anyone interested in the history of science fiction. Unfortunately, this was not the version I was intending to buy (it is the 118-minute version, I was looking for the 148-minute version), but it has interesting features on the second disc and an audio/text commentary on disc 1.
