Great Polisher
5 of 5 found this helpful For the money this is a great deal, it's new but not the latest model. A good starting point if you're just getting into detailing but are not sure what sort of pads and things that you need.

If you need a fast prime with great stabilization this lens is for you!
I needed something with a bit more range, having an 8mm, 24mm, 18-55mm, 40mm & the nifty 50 didn't really get me closer to the action for outdoor shooting. I really needed something with this type of range and the fast aperture helps for some beautiful depth of field for certain subjects!

Great lens, lightweight, quiet AF motor!
I was looking for a decent midway lens that could pick up a little more distance than the 18-55mm kit lens I use mainly for wide angle, I also have the "Nifty 50" for some portrait shots. I had decided on a few outings to the zoo and nature walks that I would be better equipped with something a little more flexible on both sides of the 50mm range. Ideally I'll probably pick up a 70-200mm to round out my glass but this was a great purchase for an "Everyday Lens" type of thing.
