THESE ARE BOOKS 3 & 4! Loyalty, forgiveness, betrayal, and a 'fifth column' that could destroy the human world.
Don't buy these thinking you are at the beginning of the story. Your'e not. These are the third and fourth volumes of the Stormlight Archive series, but are called "Book Two, part one", and "Book Two, part two". I spent forever double- and triple-checking that I was ordering the correct volumes!
As you might suspect, everything does not go smoothly for either of the heroes of this tale and the assassin has not finished his work. Sanderson has woven this next section of his opus maximus beautifully; I find myself really caring about the fortunes of some characters whilst despising others, even while I see the logic behind their despicable acts. And who is Wit? He's an enigma, and there's more about him in these tales. I do not like blow by blow accounts of combats, but I acknowledge that they are essential to the full understanding of the story and, I have to admit, they are well written. I shall continue reading this series and look forward to volume 5 - if I can work out which one it is!

Great for first-timer survivalists!
This product is a magnesium block with a steel rod embedded in it, over which is drawn a saw-toothed flat steel rod to create the spark. In dry conditions, it will give a large spark that lit my dry tinder, eg: cotton wool, almost every time. The beauty of this piece of kit is that if there is no dry tinder to be had, you can spend a bit of time using the steel to scrape some of the magnesium off until you have a small amount of powder which burns quickly and fiercely and gives a good chance of getting a fire started. This is the perfect accompaniment for a wood burning camping stove, especially if you keep some tinder and kindling inside the stove ready for use.
I would add one safety note that I didn't see in the instructions: If you get burning magnesium powder on your fingers, brush or wipe it off immediately. Do not under any circumstances put your finger under water. Did you ever do that science experiment at school where alkali metals burned like crazy when put in a trough of water? Yes, that! Magnesium just needs a bit of help to get started but burns the same way. Keep your magnesium in the block until you need it and you'll be fine.

Nice, with one drawback
I already own a Fuji camera of this type and bought the Nikon for my daughter. The first thing we noticed was that you couldn't switch off the big back screen and take photos/videos through an eyepiece (you can on my Fuji). I'm one of those people who is irritated by the parent in front of me at theatre/school events videoing everything with a bright screen shining in my direction; so you can see where I'm coming from. Battery life is/can be shorter because of this oversight. Everything else about the camera, large viewing screen, digital colour filters, smile detector, look, feel, etc, are all excellent.
