VINCENT - THE FULL STORY 2005 DVD
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought this DVD to replace the same documentary I had on video tape. The documentary is lively, accurate and educating. If you are a student or lover of art and/or Van Gogh, this should not be missed.

POOR PRODUCTION
Interesting subject completely spoilt by loud and quite frankly, awful music. The commentary is often overshadowed by the almost constant din of this music and by the sounds of aircraft and other noise that did not match what was being shown. A great shame, as I was looking forward to watching this DVD. On the plus side, I only paid £3.99 for it, which is just as well, as some of these on e-bay were much more expensive.

DATED, BEAUTIFUL, OLD FASHIONED ENTERTAINMENT AND HUMOUR.
I knew what to expect as I had watched most of the episodes 40 odd years ago, but it occurred to me that I hadn't seen them all and those I had were over 40 years ago, so I treated myself and have not regretted it. Smashing!!!!! Oh, and Felicity Kendall can sign her autograph for me anytime!
