High quality color printer
8 years ago I bought one from a thrift store for $9.99. Amazingly it worked fine after I installed new cartridges. But a few months ago, I accidentally destroyed a circuit board behind the cartridges. I was very happy to find the same model on eBay for a reasonably low price, and even more happy when it arrived. It works fine. The only drawback is I haven’t found software to run it on Windows 10, but that doesn’t matter to me since I have been using the old one and now this on an XP machine.

TI-83 is a good learnng tool
The TI-83 might not have all the bells and whistles of the TI-84, but for almost any application, it does the job just as well.

Help students understand that coins do not "remember" previous results and try to balance out predictions.
Realistic, solid. Used in classroom. Asked 5 volunteers to stand at board and make predictions before each toss. By 5th toss, most students become suspicious, while some keep predicting the opposite, thinking it has to make up for the inconsistency.
