rambo trilogy
slyvester stallone stars as john rambo in this triology of films a war veteran tormented by his past and trying to comes to terms with the things he's done. written, directed and starring stallone he plays the part with realistic authenticity, in rambo we see him back home in his native country abused by the local law enforcement he fights back the only way he knows which cullminates in a thrilling finsh to the film. the second in the trilogy sees him return to vietnam to rescue pow's left behind after the war,he falls for a local woman but when she is killed by the evil vietnam captain he exacts a bloody revenge on his enemy. the final outing in this trilogy sees john rambo dragged into a conflict that has nothing to do with, his superior officer colonel troutman is captured by brutal russain insergants on the border of pakistan and afganistan. when rambo finds out that the american government are powerless to get his release he asked them to get him in; what follows is a onslaught against these russain aggressors to free his commanding officer and escape back to the usa. as war films go rambo protrays the fight and struggle of a patriotic man abandoned by country for what he thought was right i am fan of these films, and the writing of this film elliquantly depicts how people can be affected phyically and mentally by certain atrocities.

the pink panther dvd collection
Hilarious series of comedy films, which has not lost none of its appeal over the decades. Peter sellars as the clumsy and inept detective inspector clouseau. Inspector Clouseau bungles his way through a series of events in his own inept way finally and suprisingly solving the case. Excellent direction by Blake Edwards, Peter Sellars bring a tongue in cheek approach to his character,and has been labelled as one britain's greatest comedic brains. I have been a fan of this actor for many years, and watching his various films and roles he assume they still manage to keep me laughing a must addition to any dvd collection

eminem manages to release another ground breaking album in his own innotive way 8 mile sees him in acting debut with excellent score (soudtrack) to the film. each track is individual in its outlook, eminem is one best rap artists of recent years and has collaborated with various great rappers such as snoop doggy dog, dr dre, johnthan davies (korn) xibit etc. the album compliments the film as the film sees eminem (rabbit) struggling to become a rap singer from my point of wiew it shows his own struggles in his early days. although i am bias because i am a fan of his work and most of cds
