Shapton 1000 grit stone
I purchased this for sharpening straight razors, for setting the Bevel, it is perfect.
Cuts very quickly, is nice quality and a good price.
I first bought a King 1000 grit, which is too soft , this is like night and day different , people rave about shapton stones and I can see why, if you are looking for something for setting bevels on straight razors Buy this !
It has a plastic case that is also a useful stand , the price was good and I recommend this above others in the same price range

Battery

I am happy with my battery , and the price was very good

Parker Razor
This is my second Parker and I love it, I have many other razors, such as merkur, Edwin jagger etc and the parkers give me the best shave, quality is as good as the other brands previously mentioned.
Parker are made from brass not like most others where the head is cast zinc nowadays, they have a nice weight to them, and are well designed.
At first it takes a couple of shaves to get the angle correct, others have claimed not to get a good shave with certain Parker’s, however they have not used it enough to master it
Preserve and after a week you will not be thinking about the angle it will come naturally
I shave in the shower, and without a mirror and with two passes get an excellent shave
Better than my merkur futur and my Gillette fatboy and it feels so natural in the hand
The design and finish is very good and the black handle looks fantastic
I read the reviews of poor finish on the forums, however I can say it has improved and my two Parker’s are flawless.
I use feather professional blades and hardly ever get even the slightest nick
Even when shaving in the shower
Go ahead and buy it you won’t be disappointed!!!
