Great Bolt Knob

Great trimmer, but needs some redesigning by Hornady
1 of 2 found this helpful This trims pretty well; however, there is no microadjustment, and although one can get it set at a precise trim length, it takes a bit of effort to fine-tune it. I think Hornady could take it back to the drawing board and design a microadjustment stem and get it close to an L.E. Wilson trimmer, which I do prefer, but they do not make a case holder for the round with which I am presently working (the FN 5.7x28). While I do recommend this tool, I do it with caution. One MUST have the Hornady case holders, and with the FN 5.7, one needs two different case holders, to wit: the #37 T and the #37, which are similar, but this round requires special milling to hold the case and to trim the case. Be cautioned: this trimmer works well, but getting the exact size to trim will take a bit of trial and error.

Lot's of theory in a practical package
It's a great tool to have at your disposal, especially for refreshing your memory of some of the basics & essentials. Compact, to the point, sturdy for a "card," and it's great that it is laminated. If you're a guitar player, if you're a student, if you just want something that has lots of valuable information on a few compact cards, then this is really it. Great value for what you get, IMHO.
