Non functional with both VCR and DVD players
Just not functional - I wanted to connect my old VCR and DVD players that only had SCART outputs to a Samsung that had only HDMI inputs - the adapter should have been the answer but after connecting each one up the input was just not recognised in both cases,
The red light came on the adapter as so it was powered up but that was as far as it went My attempt to
connect my old VCR and DVD players to the TV was unsuccessful
No trouble shooting instructions came with the adapter and so it is money down the proverbial

Avoid This Product At All Cost
This product is dangerous - one week after purchase it overheated and suffered a total failure. Fried my USB stick into the bargain. It also put a hole in the side of the hub (see photo) and rendered it useless
For the sake of your own safety avoid this product at all cost - your life could depend on it
